Downloadable Color Wheels

The Color wheel is the basic tool in creating color schemes. It can be constructed in different ways. Most text books show color wheels with 12 colors, divided into three categories: primary, secondary and tertiary. In many cases, however, a color wheel with more colors can be useful. On this page you will find several color wheels showing shades, tints and tones.

The color wheels are available in a number of file formats. Feel free to download and experiment with them.
